We had a great video release at Bowery Poetry Club the other night at the Yara Arts Group event “Zhadan & Friends 2025.” The song was first composed and performed for the 2024 “Zhadan & Friends” so it was a fitting debut, closing out the program of readings of Serhiy Zhadan‘s latest work and also original written responses from NY poets. At the end there was a video message from Zhadan with a new poem.

This is the video we shot this summer, directed by NY filmmaker Deborah Magocsi.
